As a caregiving agency, we oftentimes have the privilege to work with Veterans. Veterans will always hold a special place in our hearts because of the courage that is innate within them. This Veteran's Day, we had the honor to celebrate the day with over a dozen veterans during the launch of Destination America's latest television show, Veteran's Playbook. This show highlights veterans who chose a path of entrepreneurship post-service.

The occasion featured speeches from the executive producer, Michael J. Caslin III, some of the veteran entrepreneurs, a lively performance by The Tom Prettys, and phenomenal cuisine from Celebrity Chef David Burke. We also got to watch exclusive clips from the premiere season featuring businesses like Plum Porch, a venture by Major Corrie Mays of the United States Marine Corps and Southern Elegance Candle Company by D'Shawn Russell, a military spouse. You can stay up to date with episodes here.

Thank you Veteran's Playbook for inviting our team to join in the celebration. It was a beautiful night!

Happy Veteran's Day to all who served and continue to! The sacrifices of veterans at Opal Stork do not go unnoticed. If you're a veteran and would like Opal Stork Home Care to tell your story like we did for Professor Stanley Katz, reach out to office@opalstork.com and our Communications Consultant will set a time to meet with you.
